FALSE PROMISES
: How hidden assumptions within industry
can sabotage process, buy-in and implementation.

Whether you are a facilitator, a coach, an HR person, or a consultant, there is one thing you all have in common – your job requires dealing with people’s emotional beliefs and expectations.

Hidden within the business structures of today are false promises – promises of safety, promises of loyalty, promises that if you sell yourself for a paycheck, the reward will satisfy the rest of your life.

As an outside expert, another false promise is that you are coming in a perfectly balanced individual, able to complete often Herculean tasks with no vulnerabilities. This puts a tremendous strain on you as well as setting you up to fail in some way.

All process is simply a structure that channels energy towards a specific outcome. The process must be flexible enough to adjust to the culture of the people, and the purpose of the business. Processes that are forced tend to lose the brightest and most creative people, as they do not respond to “doing what they are told”. So, in order to engage and retain the brightest and best people, understanding HOW to move them through process can be invaluable.

In this workshop we are going to learn the following:

  • How to identify when your own emotional buttons are being pushed.

  • How to quickly return to neutral from a strong emotional reaction.

  • Identifying and accurately interpreting emotional disturbances in a group.

  • How to engage your group immediately and establish trust.

  • Identifying any false promises embedded in your task.

  • How to teach your group to bring sacred energy back into the organization.

This will be a powerful day of exciting and ground-breaking tools. No matter what task you accept next, these tools will give you a tremendous advantage in achieving the results you desire.
