Super Saturday

Aging does not mean Old!

March 6, 2010

9am to 1pm

Join us every first saturday of the month at Mainstreet Health and Fitness, in Menomonie, WI for seasonal classes of interest.

Spring is the time of turning your attention from the inside landscape to the outer world. It is a time to put into action the wild dreams and imaginings of your winter rest. Come and explore ways to take your dreaming and put it to use, creating your most outrageous dreams.

About the class:

None of us would consciously put nursing homes on our vision boards, or see ourselves as unable to participate in life as we get older. Yet our fears and our role models about aging can set up a powerful draw to the very things we most resist. Women born in the 1940’s and later are changing the definition of what it means to age. We have opportunities to live the latter years of life with tremendous vitality and pleasure. Yet this requires an understanding of what makes us old, what makes us mature, and the difference between the two. It then requires a commitment to aging with vitality.

This workshop will be chock-full of the latest findings in nutrition, brain science and emotion to provide you with enough information to enjoy the second half of your life with as much passion – and hopefully more joy - as the first half.

Cost: $25

Free to Q3 members.
