Total Lunar Eclipse: December 20 beginning at 12:33pm CST and ending December 21 at 4:01 CST
Blue Moon: December 21, 2010 will be a full moon, the fourth full moon since the Autumnal Equinox in September; which is the original meaning of the term "Blue Moon" This full moon is in the sky longer than any other moon in the year
Winter Solstice: December 21, 2010 3:38PST The longest night of the year, when the pendulum begins to swing back towards the light.

When 2009 ended on a Full/Blue moon lunar eclipse, Era of Peace posted the following: “The Beings of Light have revealed that this is going to be the most significant New Year we have experienced since our fall from Grace, millions of years ago. This is a vitally important time for all of us to empower what we want to co-create in our individual lives and on this planet. Not only will our hopes, dreams, visions, and Divine Intentions be expanded a thousand times a thousand fold by the Company of Heaven, they will be exponentially expanded by the tremendous influx of Light we will experience on that sacred day.”

Regardless of whether you believe in the ascension process predicted for these times, or that the world is going to end on December 21, 2012, you have to admit this past year we have been up to our eyeballs in dramatic and abrupt changes. I would venture to guess that a year book marked by two blue moon lunar eclipses brought us a shift in reality. The shift was challenging for many, and more graceful for others But without a doubt, we no longer live in the world we used to occupy. While the general media focuses on what’s not working, and sells fear to the public, if you step outside and look at what your neighbors and friends are doing, you’ll see that an entire new world is being constructed. In fact, I can honestly say that almost every person I know is actively inventing the world they choose to live in, and that world is getting more and more solid. I see joy and hope in ever increasing numbers, and witness miracles galore. It really is a perfect time to set clear intentions for the coming year. The universe is conspiring to help us all bring heaven back to earth.

So here we are, a year that began and ends on a Full/Blue moon lunar eclipse, coinciding with the stillness point that comes twice a year at Solstice. It is a perfect time to do some powerful ritual work. Ritual is simply an intentional act designed to engage the subconscious into a certain direction. Prayer is ritual. Affirmations are rituals. Whatever you do with intention becomes a ritual. So why not take advantage of the incredible planetary energies of the week and create an intention on the night of the eclipse? (The best time is about 2:17am CST on tuesday morning). Then, follow that up with a fire ritual on tuesday night, which is traditionally how Solstice is celebrated. This is an excellent time to transform a habit - to replace a habit that hurts your with a habit that helps you. Give your old habit to the fire, and have a habit ready to substitute (one reason it can be hard to quit a habit is we don't have anything to replace it with. Be sure you have thought through what you will do instead of your habit!)

From my favorite astrology newsletter, Astroblogic, come this tasty morsel: "The exact alignment of the Sun, Earth and Moon suggests a strong tidal-pull troubling tectonic plates and human emotions in the days surrounding the eclipse with reverberations carrying well into the New Year. Full Moon Eclipses of such magnitude are about bringing something into a full state of awareness that points to future trends. This can occur on a personal level as much as on a social one as we find imbalances between domestic and worldly ambitions, between facts and opinions. With the eclipse taking place on the last degree (anaretic degree) of Gemini and Capricorn, there could be a “fated” quality to events at this time, underscoring fundamental issues that need to be addressed. Whatever comes of this sensitive period of time, I believe we’ve reached a tipping-point with regard to the truth or lack thereof."

Finally, I would like to encourage you to come to my new class that begins in January. It is designed to provide you all the tools and support you may need to ride the changes that are coming, and to help you create the world you will occupy on December 21, 2012. I would love to help you, and your attendance at the class would help me. Please consider giving yourself the gift of a new reality. There are hundreds and thousands waiting to play with you there.

Blessings!

Cat

On December 31, 2009, we experienced a BLUE MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE, and on December 21, 2010, we have another BLUE MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE. What was YOUR year like, sandwiched between these two powerful events?
